Bone regeneration

Bone regeneration re-grows the previously lost bone tissue. Some techniques utilize barrier membranes that are inserted over the area of bone loss. Most membranes are bio-absorbable, but some require removal. Other regenerative procedures involve the use of bio-active gels.
