Dr. David I. Lipton

Dr. Lipton trained in Periodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida where he served as Chief Resident his 3rd year and received his certificate and Master of Dental Science in Periodontics. During his three-year residency, Dr. Lipton received extensive clinical training in regenerative periodontal therapy, soft and hard tissue reconstruction, esthetic periodontal procedures, oral medicine, IV sedation and placement of dental implants. Prior to his specialty training, he attended the University of Michigan where he attained his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Lipton continued his education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS. After dental school, he completed a 1 year AEGD at the University of Florida College of Dentistry with a focus on full mouth reconstruction. Following his AEGD, he completed 3 years of an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in Detroit, Michigan before switching to periodontics. Throughout his training, Dr. Lipton has won numerous awards for his research and clinical skills. Dr. Lipton is also a published author in the field of periodontics as well as a national and international speaker.
