EDUCATION
Periohealth Seminars is now offering three different types of educational opportunities for dentists. The Implant Study Group and the Westside Study Club are both local groups dedicated to short, focused courses to advance the quality of multidisciplinary implant therapy, patient care, and doctor satisfaction. The PerioHealth Institute for Advanced Dental Education offers multi-day in-depth courses. The Spear Study Club is a small group focusing on complex treatment planning. These courses, incorporating real patient, surgical and prosthetic hands-on experiences, are designed for the discerning professional interested in dedicating a few hours or several days to expand his/her clinical acumen and skills.
All events a taught by providers approved by the Academy of General Dentistry for CE crediting.
What are PerioHealth Seminars?
In 2001, three dentist founded PerioHealth Seminars’ two study clubs to provide quality advanced continuing education to improve treatment, communication, and clinical experience for dentists from Texas and throughout the United States. Our state-of-the-art on-site learning facility accommodates our seminars, hands-on training, and live patient demonstrations. For years, we have assisted dentists in learning implant treatment, treatment planning, procedure, technique and comprehensive restorative and restorative dentistry.
Drs. Todd Scheyer and Michael McGuire, founders of the PerioHealth Seminars are still actively involved as study club and continuing education seminar directors, participants and educators.
